Orange signs agreement to offer FTTH services in Ain

French telco Orange has signed an agreement with Syndicat Intercommunal d’Energie et de e-communication de l’Ain (SIEA), which operates a public initiative fibre network in the Ain Department, which is situated on the eastern edge of France, local news source Voix de l’Ain reports. Under the terms set out by the deal, Orange France will offer its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services to 90,000 households in a total of 419 towns across nearly 190 municipalities.
