T-Mobile Hungary to provide total LTE coverage of Budapest subway system

T-Mobile Hungary, the mobile arm of national fixed line operator Magyar Telekom (MTel), has announced that its Long Term Evolution (LTE) 4G mobile coverage will be extended to the whole of the Budapest subway system by the end of April, Telecompaper reports. This will include all three existing lines, plus the new M4 line which is expected to begin operations later this week. The firm currently claims around 40% outdoor population coverage for its 4G services across Hungary, having launched the technology in January 2012.
