life:) revenue rises 11% in local currency

Ukrainian cellco Astelit (life:)) has reported that its revenue grew by 11.0% in local currency terms in 2013 to reach UAH3.595 billion (USD400 million) compared with UAH3.240 billion in 2012. In the fourth quarter of 2013, sales increased by 10.9% year-on-year to UAH913 million. In 2013 EBITDA increased by 19.9% to UAH1.096 billion, and in Q4 2013 EBITDA reached UAH281 million, up from UAH220 million in 4Q12. The three-month active subscriber base of life:) increased by 15.0%, or 1.2 million to 9.2 million customers in 2013, while the total number of registered SIM cards rose by 13.5%, or 1.5 million, to 12.6 million at 31 December 2013. In Q4 2013 ARPU (three-month active users) decreased by 3.5% y-o-y to UAH32.9. Annual net loss was narrowed to UAH261.5 million in 2013 from UAH448.1 million in 2012. Annual CAPEX was reduced 12.9% to UAH541.5 million from UAH621.8 million a year earlier.
