Brazil to sell off unused wireless spectrum in H2 2014

The Brazilian government is planning to sell off unallocated wireless spectrum in the second half of this year according to local press reports. According to Folha de Sao Paulo, which cites an unnamed source at telecoms regulator Anatel, the sale will include 1800MHz spectrum previously held by Unicel, as well as unused H-Band 3G frequencies.
