M-Net selects Huawei as preferred vendor for upgrades

German regional broadband operator M-Net has selected China’s Huawei as the preferred vendor for the upgrade of its networks in Bavaria. Lars Kuba, Director Account Management Carrier & Service Provider at Huawei Technologies Germany, said that the agreement strengthens the long term cooperation between the two companies; Huawei has been the partner for the rollout of M-Net’s fibre-to-the-building (FTTB) and fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks in Munich, Erlangen and Augsburg since 2008.
