Orange extends 4G network to Granada

Spanish mobile network operator Orange Espana has confirmed that it has expanded its 4G LTE network to the city of Granada. Having spent some EUR4.5 million (USD6.15 million) on the network development, Orange noted that 4G services had been on offer in the city since 16 December, with its infrastructure covering the entire city centre, as well as the north of the city to the border of the neighbouring Maracena municipality.

Having initially inaugurated its LTE-based services on 8 July, Orange Espana now offers 4G connectivity in a total of 18 locations, those being: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Malaga, Murcia, Zaragoza, Bilbao, Alicante, Cordoba , Palma de Mallorca, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, La Coruna, Valladolid, Vigo, Huelva, Cadiz and Granada.
