Singapore’s public transport authority has announced plans to deploy Wi-Fi hotspots at 28 railway stations across the country. The deployment will form part of the government-backed Wireless@SG programme which aims to push the development of wireless broadband technology across the island nation. According to a report from Cellular News, the deployment will be run as a two-year trial before any decision is taken to expand the service.
