ANF issues notices for TND8.4m in unpaid spectrum fees

Agence Ecofin writes that Tunisia’s National Frequencies Agency (ANF) has issued notices to the nation’s trio of wireless providers to submit payment for their operating frequencies, claiming that the trio have not paid their spectrum fees for several years. Tunisie Telecom (TT) reportedly owes the ANF TND500,000 (USD301,016) whilst Ooredoo is due to pay TND2.4 million and Orange some TND5.5 million. The ANF has given the firms until the end of January to clear the debts.
