TP merges with subsidiaries; adopts Orange Poland moniker

Polish telecoms company Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) has completed a merger with its subsidiaries PTK Centertel and Orange Poland, and will officially adopt the Orange Poland brand for its operations. According to a company press release, the telco has merged its fixed and mobile operations in order to improve efficiencies. Orange Poland’s president Bruno Duthoit said: ‘With the formal merger of TP and PTK Centertel we will be able to better exploit the potential of Orange Poland and the strength of convergence, which distinguishes us from the competition.’
