Slovak Telekom expands LTE to over 20 cities

Slovak Telekom, which launched commercial 4G LTE mobile broadband services on 15 November, has expanded its LTE network coverage from five cities to more than 20 cities and municipalities across the country in a month. The operator’s website coverage map shows that its Ericsson-built LTE 1800MHz network now covers areas including: Trnava, Nitra, Galanta, Hlohovec, Zilina, Topolcany, Martin, Banska Bystrica, Piestany, Zvolen, Poprad, Presov, Nove Mesto/Vahom, Banovce/Bebravou, Dolny Kubin, Ruzomberok, Humenne, Sered, Sladkovicovo and Velka Maca. The 4G service is not yet available in the capital Bratislava, however.
