Slovenian incumbent Telekom Slovenije has won two competition related court decisions in a week, SeeNews reports. The country’s Supreme Court annulled a previous judgment from Slovenia’s competition authority which had ruled that Telekom Slovenije abused its dominant position on the retail telecommunications services market, regarding the ‘Dzabest’ packages offered under an alternative wholly-owned mobile brand ‘Itak’ (meaning ‘anyway’ – offering value bundles including mobile minutes, data, messaging and applications, and the option of spending a monthly allowance on any combination of usage). The Ljubljana Higher Court rejected a separate claim from alternative operator T-2 which had sought competitive damages of EUR129.5 million (USD175 million) from Telekom Slovenije.
