Retelit sells WiMAX unit to Linkem for EUR27.5m

Italian telecoms provider Retelit has announced that its subsidiary e-via has completed the sale of its WiMAX business unit to Linkem for a total consideration of EUR27.5 million (USD37.3 million), as required by the lease agreement dated 13 April 2011. The WiMAX subsidiary was attributed a total value of EUR33 million, less the lease payments already made by Linkem, which amounted to EUR5.5 million, for a final amount of EUR27.5 million.
