Vodafone Qatar in M2M drive

Vodafone Qatar and Australian-based NetComm Wireless have agreed a strategic partnership to develop machine-to-machine (M2M) services on Vodafone’s mobile and fixed networks, enabling ‘Smart City’ applications on various devices for functions such as security systems, intelligent transport systems, smart metering and smart medical devices. NetComm Wireless has an existing partnership with Vodafone Global Enterprise in provisioning Vodafone MachineLink 3G services across various markets worldwide.
