According to data published by Singapore’s telecoms industry regulator the Info-communications Development Authority (IDA), the city-state was home to a total of more than 1.572 million pre- and post-paid 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) subscribers at the end of September 2013, up from almost 1.448 million a month earlier and close to 1.229 million at 30 June. 4G services are offered by each of the country’s three incumbent cellcos SingTel Mobile, StarHub and M1 Limited. SingTel’s 4G offers 95% street-level coverage (1800MHz/2600MHz), while StarHub has coverage of at least 75% for its 1800/2600MHz network (it is targeting 95% by end-2013); and M1 claims nationwide (95% street-level) coverage for its dual-band 1800/2600MHz network.
