Conatel reveals MNP total reached 106,994 in first year

According to online portal Ultima Hora, citing official data from watchdog Consejo Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Conatel), Paraguay’s mobile operators collectively ported 106,994 mobile numbers since the process was launched in November 2012. Tigo has witnessed the heaviest mobile number portability (MNP) traffic on an annualised basis, adding 50,988 new subscribers, but losing 47,119 customer accounts, for a positive balance of 3,869. Conversely, the biggest loser is Vox, which lost 7,339 lines and gained just 2,497, giving it a deficit of 4,842 subscribers.
