22 Nov 2013

German fibre-optic network federation Buglas says that its members will have connected 1.2 million households to FTTB/FTTH infrastructure by the end of 2013, up from 870,000 at the end of 2011. The 60-member strong association also revealed that by 2015 its members will have deployed FTTC connections to at least 400,000 more households. Buglas represents the interests of operators in Germany deploying fibre-optic broadband connections with downlink speeds of at least 100Mbps.
