BASE Company inks deal with Astellia for customer experience solution

BASE Company has inked a deal with France-based vendor Astellia under which the latter will implement customer experience management (CEM) and network monitoring solutions across the Belgian mobile operator’s 3G and 4G infrastructure. With Astellia to implement its Nova solution across the networks as part of a five-year project, it is claimed this will allow BASE to encourage data usage and optimise data plans. Commenting on the development, Sebastien Schultz, managing director for Europe at Astellia, said: ‘Understanding how customers use data services and interact with the network is critical to provide reliable services to an ever more demanding subscriber base. Astellia is very proud to help BASE Company accomplish this strategic imperative.’
