TIM Brasil sees capital expenditure of USD4.78bn to 2016

Reuters reports Brazilian carrier TIM Participacoes (TIM Brasil) as saying that it expects CAPEX to reach BRL11 billion (USD4.78 billion) for the period 2013 – 2016. The company, which is controlled by Telecom Italia, has filed an investment plan with regulators on the local bourse saying it expects earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), to grow at an annual rate of 5% during the three-year period, while revenue are also expected to increase by a similar rate until 2016.
