Nawras activates 4G for smartphones

Omani telecoms operator Nawras has extended the availability of its LTE mobile data services to 4G compatible smartphones, following the launch of the network for mobile broadband users in February. ‘We are excited to be offering our customers superfast 4G data plans,’ said Musab Al-Haddabi, Nawras’ Mobile Data Senior Product Manager, adding: ‘We know that our customers’ data needs are constantly changing – they want lots of data, fast and at an affordable price. Our high speed 4G network is designed to support data-hungry applications for video streaming, games, movies and much more. We know our customers want a great choice so we have a range of different plans that can be easily activated and enjoyed straight away.’ The new voice and data plans are priced at OMR5 (USD13) per month for 1GB of data, OMR10 for 3GB, OMR17 for 6GB and OMR24 for an allowance of 10GB.
