Rogers offers LTE roaming on AT&T’s US network

30 Sep 2013

Canada’s Rogers Communications has launched 4G LTE mobile roaming in the US on AT&T’s network. Rogers says the agreement makes it the first Canadian cellco to offer LTE roaming for its customers travelling south of the border. Rogers’ 4G roaming offer allows 50MB of data for CAD7.99 (USD7.75) per day, ranging up to CAD300 for 1GB with a month’s validity. A press release says that the 50MB basic daily rate is nearly twice the data volume used by a typical Rogers smartphone user per day in Canada.
