Thanks for sharing: Rogers claims first ‘complete’ multi-device mobile packages

11 Sep 2013

Rogers Communications has announced the launch of ‘Share Everything’ packages, which it claims to be Canada’s first ‘complete’ range of wireless plans that allow individuals, families, friends or small businesses to share wireless data, internet, unlimited nationwide talk and text, call display and voicemail across any ten wireless devices; supporting twice as many devices when compared to current offers from other Canadian carriers. Building on Rogers’ data sharing plans that have been available since 2009, Share Everything is aimed at addressing the growth in wireless data and internet consumption among Canadians and the increase in the number of connected devices per Canadian household.

Rogers Share Everything plans allow customers and small businesses to connect up to ten wireless devices including smartphones, talk and text phones, tablets, ‘Rocket’ USB stick modems, wireless hubs and mobile hotspots – to a single plan. Customers choose the data bucket that suits their needs and share that data across devices for flexibility and savings. Share Everything plans also include unlimited nationwide talk and text, call display and voicemail. Customers who bring their own device can save up to CAD20 (USD19.3) on their monthly Share Everything plan price or the cost of adding a line to their plan. Wireless Home Phone service can be added to a Share Everything plan in selected markets.
