Vivo expands 4G coverage to 17 new cities

The Brazilian cellular operator Vivo has announced that its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network is now available in 17 new markets, taking its total coverage to 51 cities. The firm says its 4G services now have a footprint covering more than 45 million Brazilians. Vivo is the country’s largest LTE operator, claiming 45.1% of the total subscriber base of 257,000.
