Telekom Slovenije reports H1 results

Slovenia-based group Telekom Slovenije generated operating revenues of EUR395.6 million (USD525.4 million) in the first six months of 2013, up 1% compared to H1 2012, although 6M EBITDA fell by 5% year-on-year to EUR126.2 million. Operating profit (EBIT) was stable y-o-y at EUR41.4 million in January-June 2013, while net profit for the six-month period was EUR30.9 million, 17% higher than in the same period of 2012. Highlights included Kosovan subsidiary IPKO increasing its reported mobile subscribers by 17% during the first six months of the year, to around 507,000, while mobile user bases in Slovenia (excluding MVNO customers) and Macedonia (FYROM) dropped by 2% and 3% respectively in the same period to 1.11 million and nearly 514,000.
