Indian Unified Access Service Licence (UASL) holder Videocon Telecommunications, which operates cellular networks under the name Videocon Mobile Services, is expecting to launch 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) services by August next year, Business Today reports. It emerged earlier this year that Videocon was looking to use its 1800MHz spectrum, bagged in a November 2012 auction, to launch 4G services, and was in talks with Nokia Solutions & Networks (NSN) over a possible equipment contract. Videocon has concessions covering Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh East and Uttar Pradesh West.
