Google Capital, Yahoo and Microsoft are reportedly all interested in taking a stake in the Indian wireless broadband service provider Tikona Digital Networks. According to a report from The Economic Times, the three firms are competing for the opportunity to invest in Tikona, which has 4G licences in five circles including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh-East, Uttar Pradesh-West and Himachal Pradesh. Tikona is looking to raise capital to fund its 4G network rollout. It currently provides wireless broadband services in 25 markets across India.
