TIM extends LTE network footprint to 190 municipalities, 30% of population

According to unconfirmed local press reports, Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) has extended its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Civitavecchia, Tivoli, Ladispoli, Anzio, Tarquinia, Pomezia and Montalto di Castro, increasing its national 4G coverage to 190 municipalities and around 30% of the population. Going forward, the cellular operator expects to achieve coverage of 60% of the country by end-2015.
