Vodafone Group to re-merge European units

Vodafone Group has announced a revision to its organisational structure which it claims are ‘designed to ensure a more efficient and effective delivery of its Vodafone 2015 priorities’. As per the company’s plans, from 1 October 2013 Vodafone Group will merge its Northern & Central Europe and Southern Europe regions into one Europe region, while it Turkish operating company will be reported within the Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific (AMAP) region. According to the group, this new structure will allow it to ‘implement its consumer and enterprise plans more quickly and consistently, accelerate growth in unified communications and achieve greater efficiencies from scale’.
