30 Jul 2013

Japanese telecoms giant Softbank Group has reported consolidated net sales of JPY881.069 billion (USD8.96 billion) in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending 31 March 2014 (FY2013/14), a 21% increase on the JPY725.944 billion reported one year earlier. In operational terms, Softbank profited by net subscriber additions of 810,000 in the twelve month period, with its total number of subscribers reaching 33.29 million by 30 June 2013, a 2.5% improvement on the 32.48 million users reported one year earlier.
