Net Servicos’ revenues, EBITDA grow by 23%, 18.8%

Brazilian cableco Net Servicos de Comunicacao has reported that its net revenues in the second quarter of 2013 increased by 23.0% year-on-year to BRL2.37 billion (USD1.05 billion), mainly driven by the expansion of its triple-play TV, broadband internet and voice telephony subscriber base. EBITDA for the three months ended 30 June 2013 grew by 18.8% y-o-y to BRL613 million, while the company recorded quarterly net income of BRL42 million compared to BRL30 million in Q2 2012.
