Cableco Baltcom has signed merger agreements with seven pay-TV and internet service providers (ISPs), news portal db.lv reports. The seven companies are as follows: EST Risinajumi, Riga-based ISPs Global DVA, MFL Serviss, Baltinet Data and Lain Net; LV DATS which offers broadband in Limbazhi, Salacgriva and Cesis; and Aldem which operates in Iecava, Jelgava, Kalnciems and Ozolniekos. A spokesperson for Baltcom clarified that the merger would not cause disruption to existing customers, and subscribers would continue to receive the same packages.
