22 Jul 2013

Magyar Telekom (MTel) says its T-Mobile Hungary unit has rolled out 4G mobile internet services to a further seven county seats and numerous other settlements, across the country. As a result of the latest network expansion, T-Mobile says its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network is now available in the capital Budapest, as well as in 87 more settlements, serving more than 37% of the population. Other significant areas now served by its 4G signal include parts of Bekescsaba, Kaposvar, Nyiregyhaza, Pecs, Szekesfehervar, Tatabanya and Zalaegerszeg. MTel says it plans to extend 4G coverage to more parts of the countryside by the end of the year.
