Kuwait has no plans to suspend VoIP applications

Kuwait’s State Minister for Housing Affairs and Minister of Communications Salem Al-Utheina has reportedly stated that the ministry has no current intentions to suspend voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) applications, including Viber or WhatsApp, Zawya reports. According to the article, the ministry’s decision is pending, as it has not studied the matter yet.
