Beeline launches HSPA+ in Siberia, Far East

Russian mobile giant Vimpelcom, which offers services under the ‘Beeline’ brand, has reportedly introduced 3.5G HSPA+ technology in parts of Siberia and the Far East Federal District. According to an unconfirmed report by Telecompaper, HSPA+ has been introduced in a number of locations, including: Bratsk, Angarsk, Ussuriysk, Nakhodka and Artyom. By the end of this year Beeline expects to have 85% HSPA+ coverage of the two aforementioned regions.
