India’s government has confirmed the allocation of additional 2G spectrum to Vodafone in all 14 service areas, reports The Economic Times newspaper. In March 2013 Videocon became the first company to receive its spectrum from the November 2012 auction, with Vodafone now becoming the second. Airtel, Idea Cellular and Uninor are all yet to receive their spectrum.
