20 Jun 2013

China Mobile’s Guangxi unit will roll out 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks in 14 cities in the region in the second half of the year, China Daily writes. The cellco will deploy the networks in Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin and eleven other cities as part of its efforts to build up high-speed ‘wireless cities’. As previously noted by CommsUpdate, China Mobile, the largest cellco in the world by subscribers, plans to deploy 4G-enabled networks to 100 cities by the end of 2013.
