Melita offers 250Mbps fibre in Tigne Point, Fort Cambridge

Maltese broadband operator Melita has launched fibre internet services with download speeds of up to 250Mbps for users in Tigne Point and Fort Cambridge in Sliema, boosting speeds from the previous peak of 100Mbps. Melita said the FibrePower 250Mbps service (with 20Mbps upload) will be rolled out gradually to more localities. Telecompaper reports that as an introductory offer, FibrePower 250 is bundled with Melita’s XL FibrePower Entertainment Pack at the same price as the existing 100Mbps product. The bundle also includes an ‘XL’ TV package, HD service, video-on-demand, movies-on-demand as well as telephony with free calls to all local numbers.
