Hawe sketches fibre expansion plans

Polish construction company and fibre-optic broadband wholesaler Hawe has revealed plans to install 700,000 fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) and fibre-to-the-building (FTTB) lines by 2017 and 1.2 million by 2023, news portal Rpkom reports. The company currently operates a 3,500km fibre network, and intends to form partnerships with telcos and utility firms to reduce the cost of constructing the new networks.
