Indonesian group CT Corpora, owned by local tycoon Chairul Tanjung, has agreed a deal to purchase shares in Indonusa Telemedia, the company behind pay-TV operator Telkom Vision, as it looks to bolster its position in the country’s media market. The Jakarta Globe writes that Indonusa Telemedia is currently 100% owned by dominant telecoms carrier Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom). ‘Upon closing of this transaction, CT Corp and Telkom will have a joint ownership in Telkom Vision,’ Telkom said in a statement. Morgan Stanley advised on the sale.
