The future is Orange for France Telecom

France Telecom-Orange (FT-Orange) is set to complete its group-wide rebranding on 1 July when the parent company changes its name to Orange. The French firm first introduced the Orange brand in 2006, and since then all of the group’s mobile, fixed, TV and internet operations in France and internationally have adopted the Orange name. The company’s share ticker symbol will also be changed on 1 July, from FTE to ORA. Present in 32 countries, the FT-Orange had close to 230 million customers at 31 March 2013, including 172 million mobile customers and 15 million broadband internet subscribers worldwide.
