Latam trio select Siae Microelettronica mobile backhaul solution

Siae Microelettronica, a provider of wireless communication technology solutions, has announced that it has been selected by three Latin American mobile operators for the supply of microwave radio equipment for mobile backhaul. The deal will enable TIM Celular in Brazil, Argentina’s Personal and its Paraguayan unit Nucleo to launch new high speed data services in their respective markets. The award also includes services related to network design and product attached services. ‘With this award we reinforce our existing partnership with the Brazilian, Argentinean and Paraguayan operators, almost doubling our presence in terms of supply,’ noted Luigi Lovati, general manager of Siae Microelettronica Latam.
