T-HT ordered to raise internet, IPTV prices

9 May 2013

Croatian incumbent telco T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) has been ordered by regulator HAKOM to raise the retail tariffs for internet and IPTV packages from 1 June 2013 to prevent distortion of competition. The price increases, based on HAKOM’s analysis of significant market power (SMP), apply to T-HT’s own branded packages and its subsidiary Iskon’s internet/IPTV services. The changes take effect on 1 June for new subscribers while existing customers will continue paying the old rates until the end of their current contracts.
