LIME launches IPTV in Cayman Islands

23 Apr 2013

LIME (Cable & Wireless), the Caribbean division of UK-based Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC), has introduced internet protocol television (IPTV) to the Cayman Islands. LIME TV, which was initially launched in Barbados in 2012, uses adaptive bitrate streaming delivered over a broadband connection via a set top box or other connected device. LIME TV can be purchased independently or as a part of a mobile, broadband and fixed line service package. It provides round 120 basic and premium channels – more than double the number of channels available from rival service providers, including ABC, CBS, NBC and HBO Caribbean.
