TU SR launches FWA tender

The Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TU SR) has launched a tender for 14 fixed wireless access (FWA) regional licences in the 10GHz band. The concessions will allow their holders to provide services in the following areas: Banska Bystrica, Humenne, Levice, Levo, Liptovsky Mikulas, Nitra, Nove Mesto, Matador, Trebisov, Trnava, Zvolen, Zarnovica, Ziar nad and Zilina. Bids must be submitted by 14 May, and each successful applicant will receive 2 × 7MHz blocks of spectrum valid for ten years.
