Reliance integrates Hawk with global network

Reliance Globalcom, the submarine cable arm of Reliance Communications (RCOM) has successfully integrated the Hawk cable system with its global network, the Economic Times reports. The Hawk cable has landing stations in Marseille (France), Yeroskipos (Cyprus) and Alexandria, Egypt, where it connects to Globalcom’s FLAG Europe-Asia cable. Globalcom’s president and CEO Punit Garg said in a statement: ‘We are delighted with the seamless integration of the Hawk submarine cable system with Reliance Global Network… Our existing customer base of over 37,000 corporates in India and over 1,400 corporates in Europe and USA, along with over 200 carrier customers will benefit from this lowest latency network.’
