Vodafone Italy has confirmed that it has launched Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology in 13 new cities, taking its 4G footprint to 21 locations. New regions now covered by Vodafone’s LTE network are Bergamo, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Ivrea, Livorno, Modena, Pisa, Reggio Calabria, Taranto, Trento, Verona and Venice. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, Vodafone inaugurated its 4G network in Rome and Milan in October 2012, before extending coverage to a further six cities later that year.
