TU SR proposes 67% MTR reduction

The Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TU SR) has published a draft decision proposing to reduce wholesale mobile termination rates (MTRs) by 67% to a maximum of EUR0.0122 (USD0.0158) per minute for all three cellular network operators. The regulator set the proposed new mobile call interconnection fee threshold based on a pure long-run incremental cost model (Bottom Up Long Run Incremental Cost). Comments on the draft decision can be made by 22 April 2013.
