NSN boosts Tango LTE network capabilities

27 Mar 2013

Luxembourgian cellco Tango has confirmed that its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE), which was launched in October 2012, has been boosted by Finnish vendor Nokia Siemens Networks’ (NSN’s) implementation of its Liquid Core network and its Circuit Switched FallBack (CSFB) system. NSN has also implemented subscriber data management, allowing the operator to provide what it claims are the country’s first personalised data tariffs.

NSN’s Filip Rommelaere commented: ‘Without differentiating between data services, it becomes difficult for operators to efficiently manage the growth in network traffic. Our packet core network platform and subscriber data management solution help Tango efficiently manage data traffic and offer people greater choice in terms of the service they receive’.
