RCS&RDS expands Wi-Fi network to 2,400 hotspots

Romania Cable Systems (RCS&RDS) has announced that its ‘Digi Wi-Fi’ service now boasts a total of 2,400 hotspots, five times more than the number recorded following the network’s 2011 launch. Referencing the scale of the network, development manager Valentin Popoviciu commented: ‘Digi Wi-Fi is the only wireless internet network of this size in Romania, most of the other networks do not have over 100 hotspots … We will continue to expand the network at a similar pace’.
