Ch-ch-ch-changes: Starman’s entire network upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0

Estonian triple-play cableco Starman has announced that its entire HFC cable network has been upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0 technology standard, offering broadband internet services with download speeds of up to 150Mbps to all subscribers. TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database says that Starman launched DOCSIS 3.0-based services in Tallinn in October 2009, boosting download speeds available to subscribers in the capital to 100Mbps, and continued to roll out the technology to its cable networks in other areas, whilst boosting the download rate to 150Mbps in 2011.
