Telkom Indonesia to launch Malaysian MVNO venture

Indotelko writes that Indonesia mobile operator Telkomsel, a unit of Telkom Indonesia, plans to launch a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Malaysia from mid-year 2013. Telkomsel sales director Mas’ud Cheng Loke Sing was quoted as saying that his company believes the MVNO market offer a great opportunity, given the high number of Indonesian ex-pats and students who currently live and work in Malaysia.
